Human 'Meteor' Flight Over Supermoon

On March 20, the third (and final) supermoon of the year rose over Los Angeles and the Red Bull Air Force were mistaken for the 'human meteor'. News broke of the 'invasion' as they flew over the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown hotel to celebrate.

That is exactly what Red Bull Air Force Team members Jon Devore, Mike Swanson and Andy Farrington managed to pull off! Daisher pulled a near impossible jump at the iconic Petra Treasury, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A New World Record

How did you spend the longest day of the year? Miles Daisher spent the extra hours of daylight on the summer solstice throwing himself off a bridge – 63 times, to be exact, earning him the record for the most unassisted BASE jumps in 24 hours. Miles climbed over 29,000 feet of rock, higher than Mount Everest, all in a day's work.

Jump zones shut down during a thunderstorm because it would be insane for people to jump out of an airplane into one...yet Sean MacCormac leaps from 2 miles above Southwest Florida with laser beams of lightning randomly igniting the sky and no way to tell which direction is safe. He charges out, feet strapped to his board to surf into a hostile thundercloud at speeds up to 130 mph.
